Company History
 
Worldwide Languages & Communication, LLC, is a small, San Antonio-based, woman/minority-owned business which has been providing professional and comprehensive language services since 1985. Client base includes individuals, schools, hospitals, businesses, agencies and Fortune 500 companies at the local, state, national and international levels. Worldwide’s primary services are document translations, interpreting and language training.

During its thirty years of operation, the firm has provided private, group and corporate language instruction, in-school and after-school programs, translations of immigration, business, academic, scientific, medical and government documents, books, manuals, presentations, journals, and Websites, as well as consecutive, simultaneous, summary, and phone interpretation. Worldwide offers telephonic language interpreter services in over 200 languages, and face-to-face interpreting in over sixty five languages, including American Sign Language. This organization is certified by SCTRCA as an ESBE, HABE, MBE, WBE and SBE in categories 611630 (Language Schools), 541930 (Translation and Interpretation Services) and 621340 (Offices of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists) . The Institute is also a DOD contractor, part of the SAM registry, A2-Woman Owned Business, MB-Educational Institution, PI-Hispanic American Owned, and VN-Contracts. Worldwide is a current and past member of various professional organizations including NABE (National Association of Bilingual Education), ATA (American Translators Association), TAHIT (Texas Association of Health Interpreters and Translators).and NCIHC (National Council on Interpreting in Health Care).
